Aid Stations

Aid stations will have water, electrolyte drink, and an assortment of pre-packaged snack foods. If there’s a specific food you need please put it in your drop bag.

We’re going to have a small selection of hot/fresh food at aid stations! Each station should be making up something different so you shouldn’t get bored.

Each aid station will also have a portable toilet available.

Drop bags

Please keep drop bags to a reasonable size, a small drawstring bag or similar sized box. Drop bags must be handed over by 7am of race day. 100K racers will NOT have a drop bag at their first aid station (Gate 31) on their first loop.

Drop bags will be returned to Start/Finish at various intervals throughout the day as racers complete the course. Any drop bags unclaimed at the end of the event will be donated/discarded (please don’t leave drop bags at the end of the race).

Pacers and Crew

Due to limited parking and access, crew is only allowed for 100K participants and only at the Overlook Aid station and Start/Finish. Crew may not go to Gate 31 or Fire Tower. If your crew would like to visit the Fire Tower as a park visitor they are certainly welcome, but they cannot crew you at this station.

Pacers are only allowed for the 100K after you have completed your first 50K loop. You can pick up a pacer at Start/Finish or at the Overlook Aid station. You may swap pacers at the Overlook Aid station either time you’re passing through the station.

Timing and Awards

This is not a chip-timed event. Please make sure your bib is visible so that we can quickly and more accurately record your time when you finish.

The spirit of this event is celebrating everyone’s achievements, therefore there will be no special place awards or prizes. However, the final results on Ultrasignup will show your position in the field and can be sorted by age and gender.

Swag

Participants will receive a finisher medal, SweatVac beanie and headwrap, plus our special Fire Tower patch!
